Bringing together the representatives of the largest and most important construction companies in the country, the third day of the INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION took place on Thursday afternoon (8).
The Forum was opened by Antonio Carlos Kieling, president of the event and EXPO REVESTIR, who highlighted the support and partnership of Editora Pini and SindusCon-SP, represented by their respective presidents, Eric Cozza and Sergio Watanabe, who also spoke about the performance of civil construction in 2011 and prospects for 2012.

Next, Edo Rocha, representative of Broad Sustainable Building in Brazil, a company recognized for its sustainable design and fast constructions, presented a case of major impact in the construction sector last year: "How to build a 30-story building in 15 days". The architect brought new concepts about man-environment-architecture relationship. He also highlighted the importance of integrating esthetics and ergonomics.

The meeting was promoted by Anfacer (Brazilian Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers), EXPO REVESTIR, Construção Mercado and Téchne magazines (Editora Pini), SindusCon-SP (Civil Construction Union of São Paulo State), CBIC (Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry), and supported by Apex Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
ASBEA PANEL PRESENTS A GUIDE TO SUSTAINABLE DESIGNS

Asbea (Brazilian Association of Architecture Studios) presented last Thursday, March 08th, a preview of the guide "HOW TO COMMISSION A SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN”.
The workshop intended to present a practical guide to the market, aiming to disseminate the work conducted by the organization with reference to the topic of sustainability in architectural designs. The event, directed to architects, engineers, builders, developers, urban planners, public and private commissioned firms, addressed topics such as the application of new concepts in designs, material performance and planning.
According to Ronaldo Rezende, president of Asbea, the discussion on the issue of design valorization is a key initiative for the development of the sector and productive links in Brazil.

The quality of the audience on the first three days of the event consolidates, once again, the importance of EXPO REVESTIR. Architects, interior designers, retailers, builders and international buyers can check out, until Friday (9), the cutting-edge trends and innovations for the civil construction finishing industry.
In addition to the 230 exhibitors at EXPO REVESTIR, the INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION is taking place simultaneously and will be successfully closed with Tecnargilla Brazil and the Architect’s Day.
